Avery is a thin, almost waifish being who runs the shop and aids in the enchantment of magical goods. It’s not entirely clear if Avery is alive in the traditional sense. By their own account they were found abandoned at the bottom of a centuries long abandoned gold mine by Melalia who brought them back to Korvosa and repaired them. Quiet in speech with an oddly precise and polite manner they’re devoted to Melalia and just as loyal as she is to their friends.
